Kuehne & Nagel asked us to create something special as a gift for their partner Delacre, the company known for its lixe cookies. The final idea quickly emerged: to disguise a reefer (refrigerated container) as a cookie jar and bury it under a pile of cookies. Of course, these cookies were all modeled after Delacre. To top it all off, we presented the build on a tall cake stand: under the dome, the structure stays nice and dust-free, "fresh" just like real cookies.
We completely abandoned the scale. Container, cookie jar, cookies, packing boxes: the sizes are all over the place.
Approx. 1,385 pieces
First, get some ideas...
Special attention to Delacre's first cookie: the Pacha. After trying several different models, we found the perfect shape that also features the holes, along with a printed logo. Just like the real thing! Yum!
The 'reefer': without a roof of course, because that would be a Delacre cookie jar lid.
In several parts and with many SNOT techniques, this is the result of the container with a lid. The cookie jar reefer!
Then it was time to bake cookies. First, make the dough, grease the molds, and preheat the oven, and then you get:
Not all the cookies made it to the finish line... but a large number did.
A beautiful collaboration between Studio NOP and Arne Brick Design: and that is reflected in the container: do you see the logos on the packing boxes in the container?
