The Cuypershui in Roermond is the museum dedicated to Pierre Cuypers, a renowned 19th-century architect who sought to draw attention through creative architectural designs. It was a fun challenge to capture so many of the throne's abundant details within such a small format. A collaboration with Arne Brick Design.

Before arriving at a final design, there were numerous iterations regarding size, color, the ornamentation of the backrest, and the armrests.
Ultimately, the more understated colors proved most characteristic of Cuypers’ style, and we found a way to display the coat of arms and the lions high up on the backrest.
A small heart shape represents the current initials, featuring a ‘W’ form at the bottom and an ‘A’ at the top: King Willem-Alexander.
