Lego Ideas in wood

Lego Ideas asked to create a structure that captures a fantastic memory of an outdoor activity. With this Challenge, Lego wants to create a new Gift With Purchase, in other words, a small box that is given away as a free extra when sufficient spending is done in the store. The moment I read this description, I knew immediately what to build: the wooden playhouse that I built with the children in 2015-2016, right behind our garden.

250 pieces maximum, and that is exactly what it turned out to be.

I created the structure as it looked halfway through the construction process. My youngest son and daughter—then 6 and 8—are depicted with tools in their hands, showing the balcony by the water already finished, but the roof and second floor still needed to be completed.

The design is among the 15 winners out of 619 entries.
