Dire Straits, On Every Street

A LEGO Ideas contest celebrating the Fender Stratocaster, a legendary electric guitar. Because Mark Knopfler plays it a lot and Dire Straits is dear to me, the choice for its depiction was easy. "On Every Street" is, in my opinion, the best piece of music ever.

The build depicts a live concert of the song in the Roman Arena in Nîmes in 1992. Besides a section of the arena itself and the black floors with all the musicians, the stage is constructed from a large Fender Stratocaster, 70% the size of the real guitar.

Runner-up, the Fender set (set 21329) was the prize.
